§ 28. Mr. Peter Millsasked the Minister of Health what is the average cost of feeding a patient per day in the South-West Region.
§ Mr. MillsIs it not very sad that these figures are not available, bearing in mind that representations have been made to the hon. Gentleman that there has been a cut in the allocation of food for patients? Will he see that these cuts do nut take place, as it is obviously important to feed patients well?
§ Mr. SnowI should like to see more detailed information on that point. I would point out that it is difficult to provide an average figure because of the varying requirements of patients in different types of hospital.
