I beg to move, That this House welcomes the steps taken by Her Majesty's Government to assist London's housing problems. I wish to protest at the lack of time that has been given to discussion of the housing problems of 6 million people, some of whom are my constituents and some constituents of other hon. Members who have been here all day waiting to discuss these important questions. I wonder why the Opposition are so frightened about London's housing problems being discussed. What have they to conceal? Do they wish to conceal their housing record, their lack of ability to defend the tenants——
