§ Mr. ScottIs the Minister aware that these panels are appointed on a party proportional basis, and in these circumstances would it not be fairer to postpone the date till after the next G.L.C. elections, when there will be considerable changes in the political complexion?
§ Mr. MacCollWithout attempting any anticipation of what may happen and what larger Labour majorities may increase the proportions, I think most people want these panels to get started with their very important work, and we have been pressed to speed up the appointments.
