§ Miss HerbisonThe new Supplementary Benefits Commission Will examine this question and it will, of course, do so in close consultation with the Home Office.
§ Mr. MarquandI thank my right hon. Friend for that reply. Is she aware that at the moment prisoners' families are allowed to visit them monthly, whereas the Supplementary Benefits Commission pays their fares only quarterly. That is one aspect where co-ordination is needed.
§ Miss HerbisonI am very much aware of that fact. I know that the Supplementary Benefits Commission is also aware of it and will give urgent attention to it.
