Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved,

That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to make further provision with respect to transport, it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (1) the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of—
    1. (a) any sums required or authorised by that Act to be so paid; and
    2. (b) any increase attributable to that Act in the sums falling to be so paid under any other Act;
  2. (2) any increase attributable to the provisions of that Act in the sums which by or under any enactment are to be, or may be, issued out of the Consolidated Fund or raised by borrowing;
  3. (3) the making of provision by that Act for the extinguishment in whole or in part of the liability of any of the bodies established under the Transport Act 1962 or that Act of the present Session in respect of debts due from that body to the Minister of Transport or the Secretary of State.—[Mr. John Morris.]
