asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what results have been achieved as a result of the report of the working party on refuse collection.

The working party, to whom my right hon. Friend is most grateful, has prepared a very valuable report, which he will be publishing shortly.

Mr. Longden

Does not the Minister consider that it does not seem to have very much effect in respect of the streets, which are littered as if a paper-chase had gone through them?

Mr. McColl

This is an extremely good report. I commend it to the hon. Gentleman and hope that he will study it.
