HC Deb 13 April 1967 vol 744 cc1360-1
30. Sir J. Langford-Holt

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what progress has been made towards bringing all primary schools in the Atcham Rural District Council area of Shropshire up to the modern standards in all respects; and if he will make a statement.

Mrs. Shirley Williams

Nine of the 30 primary schools in the area are up to building regulations standards. Plans are in hand to move pupils from five other schools into buildings of regulation standard. Improvements have been made, or are planned, at 11 of the remaining 16.
