HC Deb 12 April 1967 vol 744 c1207
Mr. Hastings

On a point of Order, Mr. Speaker. Some little time ago, by means of a supplementary question, I asked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he would say something about the visit of General Steinhoff, the German Chief of Air Staff, with regard to the variable geometry aircraft. I understood the right hon. Gentleman to say that there was another Question on this subject. Since, wherever it may be, the Question has not been reached, is it possible for the Secretary of State to say something about the matter now?

Mr. Speaker

I have had no such request from the Minister. It is not a matter for me.

From meteorology to finance—the Clerk will now proceed to read the Orders of the Day.

Sir Harmar Nicholls

On a point of order, Mr. Speaker. As we seemed to have an indication from the Minister that he was prepared to give an answer, might we have the answer from him?

Mr. Healey

On that point of order. Mr. Speaker. This Question had a written Answer two days ago.

Mr. Speaker

I think that finishes that.
