§ Mr. MartenDoes the Prime Minister agree that the growth rate in the National Plan was economic nonsense and is now dead? If we are to have another growth rate forecast in the National Plan, does he agree that there should be much more flexibility about it?

On the second part of the question, I refer him to the Answer I gave last week, when I said that the House may hear something from my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer this afternoon.
