Queen's Recommendation having been signified

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to confer jurisdiction on county courts in certain matrimonial proceedings, it is expedient to authorise any increase in the payments out of moneys provided by Parliament under the Legal Aid and Advice Act 1949 which may be attributable to any provision for the payment under that Act to a solicitor or counsel acting in an undefended matrimonial cause of a fixed sum instead of an amount ascertained on taxation or assessment of costs; or for modifying Schedule 3 to that Act in relation to proceedings treated at any stage as pending in a county court.—[The Attorney-General.]
