HC Deb 18 October 1966 vol 734 cc14-5
17. Sir C. Osborne

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will place in the Library a copy of the Study of Comparable Trade Union Practices in Britain and America, which he sent to Washington, and a copy of the Cromer-Martin Plan.

Mr. Callaghan

No, Sir.

Sir C. Osborne

As the Chancellor knows, the Sunday Times, which is a responsible newspaper, feels that these two reports have been sent to Washington. If it turns out that he should discover them in his Department, will he please let Members of the House see them?

Mr. Callaghan

If I thought that there was a chance of discovering them, I should be delighted to read them first before I placed them in the Library.
