§ Mr. William RodgersWe are satisfied that the present arrangement by which 1579 members are appointed as individuals, not as representatives of particular places or territorial interests, is the best.
§ Dr. GrayIs my hon. Friend aware that the constituency of Yarmouth is not represented on the East Anglia Planning Council? Does he not agree that the proposals made for physical planning would be greatly improved if the planners could receive advice from individuals who know the area at first hand?
§ Mr. RodgersThe Economic Planning Council was set up precisely for this purpose. It is composed of people from East Anglia who know the region very well and they are always very happy to receive representations from anybody who cares to get in touch with them.
