HC Deb 23 May 1966 vol 729 c1
Mr. Peel

With your permission, Mr. Speaker, and that of the House, I wish to present to the House a Petition emanating from my constituency concerning the urgent need to fix a firm and early date for the construction of a new maternity hospital in Leicester and for other work to be done at Leicester hospitals to reduce the seriously long lists for admissions.

This Petition relates to one signed by more than 9,000 of the citizens of Leicester, which has already been presented to the Minister of Health.

To lie upon the Table.
