Ordered, That the Amendments to Standing Orders relating to Private Business hereinafter stated in Schedule (A), and that the new Standing Order hereinafter stated in Schedule (B) be made.

Schedule (A)—Amendments to Standing Orders

Standing Order 127, leave out lines 11 to 17.

Standing Order 240, leave out lines 1 to 4 and insert— (1) Every special procedure petition presented to this House shall be presented by being deposited in the Private Bill Office, and Standing Order 192A (Rule for Petitions) shall apply to such petitions.

Standing Order 244, leave out lines 15 to 18 and insert— (2) Any such counter-petition shall be presented to this House by being deposited in the Private Bill Office, and Standing Order 192A (Rules for Petitions) shall apply to such counter-petitions.

Schedule (B)—New Standing Order

Rules for Petitions. "192A. Any petition required to be deposited in the

Private Bill Office shall be prepared and signed

respecting application of Standing Order No. 31 (Closure of Debate) during Session 1965–66 (1) in the House and in Committee of the whole House, under the following heads:—
