HC Deb 02 March 1966 vol 725 cc1291-2
43. Mr. Evelyn King

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how much, basing his estimate on 1964 figures, Dorset farmers will receive in respect of his recent announcement in respect of agricultural grants.

Mr. Peart

I regret that the information is not available.

Mr. King

When the information is available, will not the figures confirm, when taken in conjunction with all the other figures that we have had today, that the Dorset farmer is far worse off than he was when the Government took office?

Mr. Peart

The hon. Gentleman is putting rather a strange argument since he has not yet been given the information on which to make his conclusions.
