§ Mr. Roy JenkinsI hope to approve the design by the end of the year.
§ Mr. DeedesWhat criteria will be used for the use of these security wings when they are available, and has the right hon. Gentleman any idea how their capacity, when completed, will relate to the number of men who ought to be in such security wings?
§ Mr. JenkinsThis is not a security wing. We are already using security wings in existing prisons. It is a maximum security prison, which will be a new development. I cannot without notice give the right hon. Gentleman information about the exact capacity, but selection for this prison will be based on the prisoners who most need maximum security.
