asked the Minister of Public Building and Works what is the reason for the shortage of galvanised tube for building purposes.

Mr. Boyden

My right hon. Friend has received no complaints of serious shortages of galvanised tube, although delivery periods have been longer than is desirable. Production is increasing and the delivery periods should get shorter.

Mr. Ridsdale

As this is holding up factory building in my constituency needed for the export trade, will the Minister look at the details if I send them to him?
