Friend look into the case of the Austin workers laid off last month who were held to be ineligible for unemployment benefit at Selly Oak Employment Exchange, while other exchanges ruled that they were entitled to benefit? Is there not a need 2 for simplification of the procedure for making claims?
§ Mr. ThorntonI know that the procedure is necessarily rather complicated. If my hon. Friend could give me the names of persons who have received different scales of benefit, I will gladly look into the matter.
