27. Mr. Hamling

asked the Minister of Labour if he is aware that a conference is to be held on industrial training in the printing industry in April 1966 under the auspices of the London College of Printing; and whether he will arrange for an official from his department to attend.

Mr. Gunter

Yes, Sir. An officer of my Ministry will attend the conference and has accepted an invitation to address it.

Mr. Hamling

Is my right hon. Friend aware that this conference is being organised by a trade union branch and is being given wide support from the trade union movement in the printing industry, an industry which is supposed to be, according to some people, rather backward?
