Mr. Staintonasked the Minister of Aviation what steps have been taken to implement the recommendations contained in the second report of the inquiry into the pricing of his Department's con tracts, Command Paper No. 2581; and whether he will publish a White Paper detailing the revised procedures.
§ Mr. MulleyThe majority of the recommendations and conclusions in Sir John Lang's second report have been accepted and implemented. A number of others are under discussion with the industry.
I do not consider that the publication of a White Paper would be appropriate at this stage.
