asked the Minister of Labour if he will make a statement about the East Yorkshire bus strike.

I am glad to say that work was resumed on 4th December.

Mr. Wall

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that I kept this Question on the Order Paper to thank the hon. Lady for the part she played in settling the dispute? Would the Minister also agree that the underlying causes of the dispute have not been really settled, and will he keep the whole matter under review?

As the hon. Gentleman knows, negotiations and discussions are to take place very shortly on the issues.
