§ Mr. RhodesIs my right hon. Friend aware that this type of equipment—and there is evidence to support this—can be used both for industrial espionage and for personal blackmail? In view of the fact that his right hon. Friend the 1870 Postmaster-General yesterday, in a Written Answer to me, said that he would not grant a licence to users of this equipment and that users could be prosecuted if they used it, would it not be desirable to prevent it from coming into our markets?
§ Mr. JayI will certainly examine that point, but as the matter stands there is, I think, nothing illegal at present about importing such articles.
