Motion made, and Question proposed,

That during the present Session Standing Order No. 13 (Motions for leave to bring in Bills and nomination of Select Committees at commencement of public business) shall have effect with the following modification, namely, that any such motion, instead of being considered at the commencement of public business, shall stand over and may not be moved until after a member of the Government shall have signified to the Chair his intention to move, That this House do now adjourn, for the purpose of bringing the Sitting to a conclusion; whereupon Mr. Speaker shall immediately call upon the Member who has given Notice of the motion to move that motion, and if the proceedings thereon have not been concluded at Ten o'clock he shall not interrupt them at that hour; and the motion for the adjournment of the House shall not be moved until after the conclusion of those proceedings.—[Mr. Bowden.]
