§ The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs (Mr. George Thomson)At the Copenhagen meeting of the European Free Trade Association, Ministers accepted the Yugoslav Government's request for exploratory talks with a view to improving trade relations with the European Free Trade Association countries. They decided that the first phase of these talks should be conducted by the Council and the Secretary-General. On the basis of these discussions member Governments would decide how to pursue the matter further.
