§ Mr. WillisMy right hon. Friend is considering the law relating to salmon and trout fisheries in Scotland in the light of the Report of the Hunter Committee and the comments he is receiving on it, but he is not yet in a position to make a further statement.
§ Mr. DoigIs my hon. Friend aware that salmon fishing is now almost exclusively confined to the very wealthy and poachers and that the angling associations now believe that if the Hunter recommendations are implemented by the Government there will be the same position in relation to all fishing in Scotland?
§ Mr. WillisThe associations have been asked to submit their views on the Hunter Report to my right hon. Friend. They will, therefore, have the opportunity of putting their views at great length.
