asked the Postmaster General whether he is satisfied that the prices of vehicles charged to his Department are fully competitive; and if he will set up an inquiry into the placing of contracts for the supply of such vehicles.

My right hon. Friend is satisfied that the prices paid for Post Office vehicles are fully competitive and that there is no need to set up an inquiry into the present purchasing arrangements.
