10.15 p.m.

The Joint Parliamentary Secretary to Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (Mr. James H. Hoy)

I beg to move, That the Ploughing Grants (Scotland) Scheme, 1965, a draft of which was laid before this House on 8th April, be approved.

Mr. Hoy

It might be—[Interruption.]

Mr. Speaker

Order. The House must now get on with its ploughing.

Mr. Hoy

It might be for the general convenience if we were to have a single discussion on the next Motion and the nine Prayers.

Mr. Speaker

Some misunderstanding arises. I called the Secretary of State and the hon. Member, as his deputy, in respect of the Ploughing Grants (Scotland) Scheme. It is quite understandable that no one should have heard me accurately. My ploughing was interrupted by the noise.

Question put and agreed to.

Resolved, That the Ploughing Grants (Scotland) Scheme 1965, a draft of which was laid before this House on 8th April, be approved.
