§ 38. Mr. Hugh Fraserasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what proposals he has to make on the use of the Royal Ordnance Factory site at Swynnerton in Staffordshire.
§ Mr. CrossmanProposals for various alternative uses of this site have been put to me by the Staffordshire County Council. I have told it I will consider these further when I have studied the report of the West Midlands regional study. This is due later this year.
§ Mr. FraserWould the right hon. Gentleman be so good as to tell the House when he expects the regional Midlands study to be available in view of the many regional Midlands studies made previously? There is a long delay in these matters.
§ Mr. CrossmanThere is no delay. It will be ready this summer.
