§ Mr. CrossmanI have sent the hon. Member a copy of the letter addressed to the county council on 12th March notifying them of my proposed modifications to the green belt.
§ Mr. DeanI am obliged to the right hon. Gentleman for sending me a copy of the modifications. Will he regard this green belt as of absolutely vital importance and do his utmost to see that the details are settled, in the light of the necessary consultations, as rapidly as possible?
§ Mr. CrossmanYes, I certainly will. It is possible that we may have another inquiry, but I hope that it will not take long and I agree that this is something which we want to get settled firmly.
