HC Deb 30 June 1965 vol 715 c593
Colonel Sir Harwood Harrison

I have to present a Petition from the residents of East Suffolk because they feel that the closure of the East Suffolk railway line will bring grave hardship to the Petitioners and their families in removing a form of public transport. Over 10,000 petitioners have signed it. Wherefore, your Petitioners pray your Honourable House to take steps to ensure that this vital public service be retained. And your Petitioners, as in duty bound, will ever pray, etc.

To lie upon the Table.
