§ Mr. HughesDoes not my right hon. Friend think that the Government should press on with this when the inland towns are so over-burdened? Would he not agree that it would be a good idea for him to develop seaside towns to provide outlets for people and to encourage our export trade?
§ Mr. CrossmanWe have thought of one or two. We are now doubling the size of Ipswich, which is not far distant from the sea. Leyland and Chorley can be said not to be far distant also, and Run-corn and Washington are adjacent to great ports.
