The VICE-CHAMBERLAIN OF THE HOUSEHOLD reported Her Majesty's Answer to the Address as follows:—

I have received your Address praying that I will direct that memorials be constructed to the memory of the late right honourable Sir Winston Churchill, K.G., and assuring me that you will make good the expense attending the same.

I will gladly give directions for carrying your proposal into effect.
