Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to provide for the establishment in Scotland of a Teaching Council, it is expedient to authorize—

  1. (a) the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any expenses incurred by the Secretary of State in consequence of any provisions of the said Act of the present Session; and
  2. (b) the payment into the Exchequer of any sums received by the Secretary of State in consequence of any such provisions.—[Mr. MacDermot.]
