Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to provide for the constitution of Commissions for the reform of the law, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of—

  1. (a) any salaries or remuneration payable to Commissioners of the Commissions to be constituted under the said Act;
  2. (b) any pension, allowance or gratuity, or contributions or other payments towards provision for a pension, allowance or gratuity to or in respect of any such Commissioner;
  3. (c) the expenses of the said Commissions, including the remuneration of their officers and servants;
and the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament, or the charging on the Consolidated Fund, of any increase attributable to provisions of the said Act relating to service as such an officer or servant as aforesaid in the sums so payable or chargeable under any enactment relating to superannuation.—[Mr. Ross.]
