§ Mr. CookeWill the right hon. Gentleman give the House a little more information? The Question asks about 464 the full text of Ministerial speeches. Is he aware that in respect of the speech of the Minister of Housing and Local Government at Huyton the other day the Prime Minister sent me a half-baked hand-out from Transport House and no full text seems to be available? Is not the right hon. Gentleman responsible for co-ordinating information services on this?
§ Mr. WiggI am not responsible for sending hand-outs to the hon. Gentleman. If he is dissatisfied with any service rendered to him by a particular Minister his remedy is to put a Question down to that Minister. I am not responsible for it.
§ Sir Knox CunninghamDid the right hon. Gentleman read the text of the speech of the Minister of Defence which appeared on the tape last night about the cancellation of the TSR2?
§ Mr. WiggI am sorry, I did not read the speech on the tape last night; I do not see what it has to do with the Question.
§ 11. Mr. Robert Cookeasked the Paymaster-General what steps he takes to acquaint himself with the full text of statements of Government policy broadcast or televised.
§ Mr. CookeCan the right hon. Gentleman tell the House who co-ordinated the publicity services in connection with the Prime Minister's visit to Paris?
§ Mr. WiggI am not responsible for the co-ordination of publicity services in connection with the visit of my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister to Paris. As a matter of fact, my right hon. Friend did so well that he did not need any co-ordination; his actions spoke for themselves.
