HC Deb 09 November 1964 vol 701 c662
Mr. Speaker

It has been suggested to me that it would be convenient if I were again to indicate which are the Amendments which I have selected for debate. That in the name of the right hon. Gentleman the Leader of the Opposition and other right hon. and hon. Gentlemen, which seeks to add: but humbly regret that the Gracious Speech contains proposals for the nationalisation of the iron and steel industry irrelevant to the modernisation of Britain and damaging to the national economy.", is to be debated today and that in the name of the same right hon. and hon. Gentlemen, seeking to add: but have no confidence that Your Majesty's Ministers can implement their proposals without damaging the programmes of modernisation already in train and thus imperilling the future well-being of Your people.", is selected for debate tomorrow.
