Considered in Committee under Standing Order No. 88 (Money Committees):—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to authorise the Mersey River Board to construct works and to acquire lands in connection with a diversion of the River Irwell in the county boroughs of Salford and Manchester, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys so provided under Section 55 of the Land Drainage Act 1930 which is attributable to provisions of the said Act of the present Session relating to expenditure incurred thereunder by the Mersey River Board.—[Mr. Soames.]
