Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to enable river purification boards in Scotland in pursuance of their functions to control the abstraction of water for the purpose of spray irrigation, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any expenses incurred by the Secretary of State under that Act and of any increase attributable to the provisions of that Act in the sums so payable under any other enactment.—[Mr. G.
