§ Mr. HendersonIn view of the statement made yesterday by the Soviet Deputy Prime Minister that the Soviet Government intend to supply arms to Indonesia, will the Prime Minister make it clear that Her Majesty's Government, while being ready to co-operate with any other Government in securing a peaceful settlement of the Indonesian-Malaysian problem, intend to stand firm behind Malaysia in response to any aggression that takes place?
§ The Prime MinisterYes, Sir. I do not think that I could make it clearer that this is the decision of Her Majesty's Government.
§ Mr. HealeyCan the Prime Minister say whether he has yet consulted the Prime Minister of Malaysia with a view to raising Indonesian aggression at the United Nations as a threat to peace?
§ The Prime MinisterWe are in continuous consultation with the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Tunku Abdul Rahman will be here in a few days, and no doubt we shall have a discussion of these matters.
