HC Deb 26 February 1964 vol 690 cc431-2
Mr. Lagden

On a point of order. Might I draw your attention, Mr. Speaker, to column 13 in HANSARD of 24th February where, under my name, are the words: despite five invitations to do so"? They should have read, "despite invitations to do so." May I ask that the word "five", which would cause great injustice to the hon. Member for Barking (Mr. Driberg), be omitted, as I never spoke those words?

Mr. Driberg

Further to that point of order. While I am very grateful to the hon. Member for his courtesy in saying what he has said, and notifying me that he would do so, I should like to record, also, that I am unable to trace having received any such invitation.

Mr. Lagden

Further to that point of order—

Mr. Speaker

No. What I can say to the hon. Member is that what he has just said will appear in tomorrow's OFFICIAL REPORT.
