Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to amend the law relating to General Commissioners for the purposes of the income tax and their clerks and officers of Inland Reveille and to transfer from the General or other Commissioners to officers of Inland Revenue the powers of assessing income tax and related functions it is expedient to authorise the payment out of money provided by Parliament—

  1. (a) of payments to General Commissioners by way of travelling allowance or subsistence allowance, and
  2. (b) of pensions or gratuities to or in respect of any full-time clerk to any body of General Commissioners.—[Mr. Green.]
