Ordered, That for the remainder of the present Session the following paragraphs shall have effect:

  1. (1) There shall be a Standing Committee to be known as the Welsh Grand Committee to consider such specified matters relating exclusively to Wales and Monmouthshire as may be referred to them and to consist of all Members sitting for constituencies in Wales and Monmouthshire, together with not more than five other Members to be 421 nominated by the Committee of Selection, who shall have power from time to time to discharge the Members so nominated by them and to appoint others in substitution for those discharged;
  2. (2) A Motion may be made by a Minister of the Crown at the commencement of Public Business, to be decided without amendment or debate. to the effect that a specified matter or matters relating exclusively to Wales and Monmouthshire be referred to the Welsh Grand Committee for their consideration;
  3. (3) If such a Motion be agreed to, the Welsh Grand Committee shall consider the matter or matters to them referred on not more than four days in a Session, and shall report only that they have considered the said matter or matters.—[Mr. Bowden.]
