§ Thirdly, the Finance Bill will provide for the repeal of the Television 241 Advertisement Duty at midnight of 29th July, that is, on the eve of the introduction of the additional rental payments to be made by the independent television programme contractors under Section 7 of the Television Act, 1963, as has been announced. These changes will result in a net increase in revenue of £4 million this year, and £7 million in a full year.
