I propose to leave the timing of its introduction to them. I understand that most expect to introduce the examination in 1965, but that a few are likely to wait until 1966.
§ Mr. FarrI am much obliged to my right hon. and learned Friend for that reply. Is he aware that certain curriculum study groups are not likely to have completed their studies into the syllabuses of this examination in time for the examination to be held for the first time in 1965?
§ Mr. HoggI believe that of the 14 boards eight expect to offer the examination in 1965, two are likely to wait until 1966, and the remainder have not yet made their decision.
