11. Mr. Worsley

asked the Secretary for Technical Co-operation when he intends to publish a further report on the activities of his Department.

Mr. Can

The Government intend to publish a White Paper on Overseas Aid generally before the Summer Recess and this document will, of course, include a section on the work of my Department.

Mr. Worsley

Is my right hon. Friend aware that the House welcomes the news of a White Paper on this? Will he also realise that, whereas the first report of the Department he now heads was of a somewhat preliminary character, it left open a number of issues, and a number of inquiries to be made, upon which I think the House would welcome more information?

Will the White Paper include the tabulated report of the work referred to in the previous Question, showing what sort of posts are being filled, where they are being filled, by whom, and so on?
