§ Sir K. JosephThe Department maintains a record of central area redevelopment schemes, compiled from various sources. Local authorities are free to draw on this as they wish.
Mrs. ButlerDoes the Minister appreciate that the central development of one area can have very serious repercussions on traffic flow, trade potential and other uses in a neighbouring town and may cause a great waste of public money unless the schemes are co-ordinated? Surely it is his Department's responsibility to see that this information is circulated so that all these schemes can work in conjunction?
