Will he tell us why this review body reports to him and not to the Minister of Health? Is there any other wage-fixing body which makes its recommendations direct to the Prime Minister?
§ The Prime MinisterWith regard to the first part of that supplementary question, perhaps the hon. Member will await the statement which I am to make. In regard to the second part, I am afraid I do not know why the position is as it is, but this review body was originally appointed by me and therefore the report is made officially to me.
