asked the Minister of Public Building and Works, what progress he has made with plans for improving catering arrangements in the Royal Parks.

Mr. Rippon

We are now negotiating new contracts for catering in the Royal Parks to run from next year. My plans include improvements in existing restaurant buildings and the provision of two completely new restaurants in the central Parks in substitution for two existing buildings.

Is my right hon. Friend aware that that Answer will give much pleasure to members of the public who use the Royal Parks?

Can my right hon. Friend say whether Hampton Court will be included?

Apart from the central Parks, I am not planning any changes in any of the Royal Parks, except Regent's Park and Hampton Court.
