HC Deb 05 March 1963 vol 673 c351

Considered in Committee; reported, without Amendment.

Motion made, and Question proposed, That the Bill be now read the Third time.

Mr. Douglas Houghton (Sowerby)

I will not detain the House, but I think that from this side we should welcome very much this convenient job of work which has been done and thank those responsible for consolidating this complicated legislation.

The Solicitor-General (Sir Peter Rawlinson)

I am obliged to the hon. Member for Sowerby (Mr. Houghton), and I fully agree with him that this is a matter about which we should be obliged for what has been done by those responsible for consolidating this complicated legislation.

Question put and agreed to.

Bill accordingly read the Third time and passed, without Amendment.
