§ Mr. ProfumoAny inventions which are submitted to my Department are examined most carefully and, of course, we pay for any which we officially adopt. Sponsorship is limited only by the usefulness of the idea and by current Army requirements.
There has been no change in official policy on sponsoring inventions since the war.
